2 hot 2 sleep

I hate AC but this heat is making it impossible to sleep! Sleep is such an important part of wellness, not to mention it is the #1 Beauty Secret that just happens to be free =) I can't remember the last time I had a good night sleep! Well, maybe I am exaggerating a bit. As far as diet goes, I have definitely been focusing more on fruit. The fact that my parents have loaded up the fridge with summer fruits has made it much easier to do this. Fruit has so many amazing healing powers! After just one week I already see changes in my skin and I also feel a transformation in my body! Raw synergy's channel on you tube is so awesome I really recommend it ! Just kidding they walked into a juicer! Happy Sunday ! Trying to focus on fruits especially for breakfast! Feeling good! Had sushi on Friday an it tastes amazing but felt sick the following morning ! So challenging to be social and stay on track but will figure out ways to do it :) Bye for now Besos!

Mono Eating

Talk about extreme. One day I'm totally off the wagon and then I am into mono eating. So in case you don't know, cause I recently discovered what this is, mono eating is when you eat one type of food per meal, For example if you eat a bunch of bananas for breakfast. The whole idea behind it is to keep everything really simple so your body has an easy time digesting it. You will also know when you are full because you will quickly feel signals (my thoughts are you just get bored lol) So I heard about this on "raw synergy" a beautiful young woman on you tube who's channel i follow, who also referred me to Dr. Morse. If you have time check out his videos on youtube he seems pretty awesome! It's pretty difficult to get used to this concept so I am starting out with just doing it for breakfast. Late Owl

In case you didn't know it's been superhot in LA. Kinda makes it hard to sleep. I really miss staying up and watching all my vegan friends on you tube, as well as Brenda Lee from Leansecrets.com. I also love following Gweneth Paltrow's goop.com. Beauty blogs can be super addictive as well. How about my blog? are you addicted ? hehe I hope so! Ok so my birthday is about 4 months away and I have made a decision to get into the best shape of my life! I am challenging myself to not drink any alcohol, smoke and cigs (yuck!) eat nasty food or miss any workouts! Simple right haha I wish. Well, how about if I pretended that I was going to win a million dollars if I did this by December? Wonder if I would still be sitting in the INNOUT drive through. Sunday Bloody Sunday

Hi! I finally have some free time and privacy to blog a bit. How have you been? The past few weeks have been very interesting. Still in the process of figuring myself out. Last night I went to a men's strip club for a silly Birthday party theme. It was such a fun but kind of disturbing experience lol! Well one thing that really stood out was how amazing these bodies were. I just wanted to stop the music and dancing and ask them about their diet and exercise routine! I know this sounds so random but the guys from last night really motivated me to take better care of my body. It is so easy to slip back into all of my bad habits but if i really make a conscious effort (with a nice reminder of washboard abs) it is definitely doable. If my dream man looks like the men from yesterday then I need to look like the dream girl myself. TGIF Goals

haven't been very loyal to my blog lately but do want to keep up with the goal setting... Breathe live in the present pamper myself do something fun outdoors this weekend maybe hiking? stay cool give up the need to please everyone eat clean ..even though I know I am having yogurtland today hehe :) figure out living situation GET A JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or find a creative way to make some money!

Goals

I almost left without telling you my goals. Kind of in an angry state right now but breathing techniques and even writing this blog helps me. goals of the week/month/year/decade/century hehe jk let's start with today be nicer and more patient with family members and friends love yourself and every inch (yes even so called "flaws") meet old friends to have fun and catch up treat myself to a mani pedi try to eat right the rest of the day (since I already fell of the wagon) don't drink alcohol or smoke cigs even though it's the weekend and these will be present and social gatherings figure out why I have so much anger and can't handle when certain people ask for favors ask mom to color hair find a creative way to start making money finally be EQUANIMOUS  ...look it up!

August Rush

What a challenge it has been to stay on track let me tell you! emotional ups and downs regardless of hormones..just based on life in general. I have been to the dark side (hamburgers, cakes, fries, alcohol and cigs) and let me tell you it might feel like heaven at the moment but the next day I feel absolutely disgusting! Even though I was really doing great and was on the right track, I know that this is just part of the process and journey. This is just an unfriendly reminder of what the dark side is like. I lived in this dark side for the past 20 years. How did I function every day??? Practicing yoga has taught me that how you treat yourself off the mat will definitely affect you on the mat. Exercise is a constant reminder of how strong and healthy I am at the moment. Today I took yoga again and even though I do feel stronger and more flexible, I just feel like I had betrayed myself by abusing my body the night before. I definitely wil...
