Dinner Day 1
I can't beleive its Day 1 and I am already having a hard time. Day one of even my water fast wasn't this hard! As soon as I got home I was hungry and thirsty so I opened the fridge for a quick fix and remembered the Almond milk is allowed so I had a yummy glass of unsweetened vanilla. Here is what I had for dinner
I worked up an appetite at yoga so I had string cheese with a slice of ezekiel bread
This seemed like alot of food for me for one day, it was as if the more I thought about dieting the more I wanted to eat! Suprisingly the next day I weighed myself and I have lost one lb. Could be the water loss from hot yoga but I never thought I could eat all day and lose weight. Maybe I can stick to this!
This morning I decided to cut out the cheese from the omelette because even though Jorge says its ok I thought I should still keep it light, I had 3 delicious eggs and some avocado
soy marinated salmon with vegetables, fresh herbs &
toasted peanuts with a sesame lime dressing over brown rice...so I only ate the salmon and brown rice and didnt have the dressing, peanuts, carrots etc. The soy sauce has sugar..there is really sugar hidden everywhere!!!! BEWARE!
It's almost time to leave work and although I am a little hungry I am not feeling as bad asyesterday....Day 2 not so bad ;)
squash, zuchini,onions cooked in the pressure cooker with 1/2 cup of bulgur pilaf with garbanzo beans (I totally overdid the garbanzo beans today! I even had a tiny bit of hummus)
After dinner I waited a couple hours for my food to digest and headed out for a late night yoga session

This kept me full until lunch time but since I was so confused on what to order I decided to have a FAGE Greek yogurt minus the honey which I usually love to add. Surprisingly I didn't mind it, normally I would think it's gross without honey but when you are starving things just start tasting better. I finally figure out what to order and was pretty pleased with my selection..
