I like rosey cheeks and I can not lie

So I weighed myself this morning and I have gained like 3 lbs! So lets focus on our face today lol!! I mean how can you eat healthy every day and then have a few bad days and gain weight?? But when you eat healthy and workout the scale doesn't move!? Grrr!  




took this pic last night to remind myself to let you in on this  new obsession called "DOLLY" ok so  this lipgloss matches my natural lipcolor ...after all who can pick a better coloring for you than God right? try to find a shade that matches your color for a more natural look

one thing i definitely know I am known for is being bronzed, unfortunately it  is usually because I bake in the sun but I also have a little secret ...Laura Mercier Bronzer (bottom right) this thing is amazing and will make you look all shiny and tanned in pics (and real life but no one seems to care about that anymore) ...top left is the Benefit one which I haven't tried for a while, Smashbox one is my everyday one does the job, the bottom left one is also Laura Mercier the dark brown part scares me a bit so i try to stay away from that triangle ..I don't use the bottom right Award winning (I made that up) one all the time mostly in the summer cause I don't want to look like I'm tanned in December cause that's freakin weird but you might ;)

so back to my lipgloss BOXOM by Bare Escentuals. I know what you are thinking..what do they know about lips? aren't they those weird powder people? my thoughts too until the geniuses at Sephora gave me a sample of it (like a drug dealer giving you a "sample" of heroin) So here is what I love about this
-makes your lips look fuller with that tingley feeling
-has sparkle in it but doesnt look like a discoball landed on your lips (aka some MAC ones)
-when you hair gets on your face it doesnt stick to your lips (remember juicy tubes?)
-kinda smells cool
-your boyfriend will think you have magical powers because his lips will start tingling too!

things I dont like
I feel like you have to sometimes wear lip balm first which kinda defeats the purpose of the plumper
my lips are always chapped because I dont drink enough water and if my lips are dry this look no bueno....chapped lips and sparkles dont match people! pay attention!

Got to the Finish Line

I am finally done with my spring cleaning! What an empowering feeling this has been! So my last 3 categories were clothes, jewelry and pictures. Clothes surprisingly did not take me that long. I promised myself I will do this once every 6 months. I still am getting rid of stuff that I even kept. Let's say I'm going out for a night out and I try on some shoes and they just don't fit right anymore, or look outdated...out they go. It feels so good to only have things I love and getting ready is so simple. As far as jewelry, it took me an entire day but well worth it. I found some beautiful pieces I had completely forgotten about. The pictures also took an entire day. I sorted them by year and just filed them and put the folders away in a cute box I had. The F word

Like most women today I let my work take over my life and didn't bother finding my soul mate until I was near my 40s.  Sounds good right? Um not really, men suck these days so I got super lucky is the real deal. We both knew when we met that our goal was to have a baby ASAP, after marriage. It was like a fairy tale well sort of in my fairy tale the princess went to therapy. I quickly got pregnant within a couple months which was great. Cut to my daughter turning almost four and us trying to get pregnant again. I realize this is a hush-hush topic for many but why? It's not easy and it's a crappy feeling finding out all the time that you are again "not pregnant". I love doing research maybe it's the sociologist in me but I learned so much about my own body and ovulation etc. Our bodies are seriously the most fascinating little machines and there is so much going on.
