Fall Transition
We have had some crazy moons lately! The weather has been crazy hot and seems like everyone's life is turning upside down! Well mine kinda feels like it. So I have been interviewing aggressively for a job lately with no luck. One thing I have noticed during the interview process is that dating and interviewing is very similar. Here are some similarities
1-on your first date you dress up and try to say all the right things just like an interview
2-after the date or interview you wait by the phone to see if they "liked" you
3-you are not sure if you should "thank" them for the date or interview or follow up or just wait for them to call you
4-you shouldn't settle for just any company or any man
5-wait for the right job and Mr Right even if that takes a long time
6-don't give up hope that the perfect job or man is around the corner
7-shortly after finally landing the perfect job or man you will start bitching and complaining about it
8-while at the job or in a relationship you will question yourself and wonder if there's something better out there
Laughter and talking about things are usually the best medicine for me =)
Today was a tough day since I got a call that I didn't get the job. I did cry a bit and get really hurt (just like in break ups) but then I met a friend for coffee got myself out of the house and dusted myself off. I will get back in the game! don't give up on love don't give up on yourself! the perfect path is set up for you by God! Trust in him that everything truly is happening for a reason and you will see the rainbow after the rain ;)
