Break a sweat every day!

Wow! what a difference a work out makes. I went back to "cyclates" today for a spin class that was awesome! I paid $16 for the class but hey I pay that much for lunch or dinner all the time and I feel like this was totally worth it. I feel so much better, working out is really like Prozac with zero side effects besides looking great! Tomorrow morning I am going hiking with a friend and then Sunday my gym reopens yey!

I finally checked out "intelligentsia" with a friend and I had to try one of their specialties .. Cappuccino with real milk and honey ..tasted as good as it looks!

cute vintage purses at a store nearby..I should start selling my mom's old purses!

I needed some energy before my workout so I had a delicious smoothie!
After our workout my friend and I went to Tender Greens, yum!! love the food there..I usually get the vegan salad which comes with hummus and quinoa and I add albacore tuna ..it's soo good it doesnt even need dressing...I did realize that they use lots of salt though =( I feel kinda sick tonight, could be the cap from earlier but I think it's cause I have been eating out alot (and they were blasting AC at Tender Greens after I was all sweaty from working out...still don't know if that can really cause a stomach ache but think it can)...gonna try to eat more meals at home next week!

Since I came home pretty early for a Friday night, and usually when I do my make up I am running out the door..thought I would take the time out to show you my first step in make up application...BASE
I got this as a gift and I think it's the BEST yes BEST primer..I used to use Laura Mercier 's primer but this one can even be worn alone because it has a tint to it...just makes you glow all over I LOVE this primer!

one of the many reasons I love CVS I love these for applying undereye concealer and foundation when I don't use my brushes or my fingers

I used to need these to cover up pimples but since improving my diet I barely ever need them! from left to right
Bobbi Brown- I bought this bc its small and could go in my purse for quick touch ups, honestly I barely have ever used it think the color is called honey..I also have a problem where I buy things because I like the name of the color like nailpolish
Fresh-I first was introduced to this bran when I bought their lip scrub, I also LOOOOVE their candles but they are sooo expensive, I bough this clay concealer bc its supposed to be "good" for your skin..think the shade was a little too light for me
Random private cosmetic brand- bought this bc I used to do my make up at my desk at work or in the car and applying it is quick n easy ..color is kinda light for me (I am way lighter in the winter)
Bobbi Brown foundation stick - I use this sometimes if I want extra coverage under a tinted moisturizer or my foundation I kinda just put it all over wherever I see redness or blotchiness..I also use these products to try to cover up my dark spot from sun damage ( I do think that bleaching cream from previous post is working though )
MAC select cover up- I barely have ever used this thing..I love MAC shadows but not a fan of their cover up

Foundation and Tinted Moisturizers..My skin is more on the drier side or "not oily" or combo so  if  I use powder I tend to look cakey or all these lines show up ugh ..so for years I have been using foundation...I know it seems like alot for every day so sometimes I use Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer instead...well before I used to always use it (it's a #1 Seller like all over the world) but then they invented myspace and facebook and I realised I look shiny in all my pics so I stopped using such a creamy product or made sure I set it with a little powder...try to use more in the center of your face and kinda just work our and up...the worst thing in the world is wearing too much make up BOYS DON'T LIKE IT! even worse is having that orange line! only a true friend will tell you if you have the orange line right? ok so here's what I use left to right oh and btw I used to work at the mall and I tried to find the perfect match for my skin so I tested almost every single brand from Christian Dior to chanel and found that Laura's colors work on me...make an effort to find your correct color and remember to switch it up in the summer when we are a bit darker ..
Laura Mercier in Golden Beige- I am so obsessed with this that I even buy an extra box just in case the world is ending and they discontinue it ..a little goes a long way LOVE this stuff! I wear it when I go out and on special occasion like weddings etc
Revlon Photo Ready- pretty sure my frist foundation was Revlon as a teenager cause my mom has always used Revlon products ..I took my Laura Mercier foundation to the drug store and just found something that was close to the color..it also has SPF in it so i use this during the day
Bobbi Brown- this one is ok not crazy about it and I think the color was a little too yellow for me
Vichy- this stuff is pretty heavy coverage ..the color is too light for me now since its summer but I also think I dont need as much coverage anymore but its great for evening out skin tone and I think its good for your skin (+sunscreen)
Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer in TAN-this color is too dark but I use it to mix with my foundation to make me look Tanned hence the name =)

I was so excited when this first came out but I dont really use it ..I kinda just dont get what it is...at first I thought it was heavier coverage but then I found out it's supposed to be lighter..I dont think I like it but maybe if  I do some research and find out whats the best way to use it then I can give it another try ..oh also I hear the Armani foundation is awesome ..I would like to try it someday

I dont really use powder but I have it just in case..sometimes I use a little but on my nose  or if I know I will be out the entire day and I don't want my make up to move ..I used to use the bobbi brown powder in High School so I figured I will try it again think its in Warm Natural 6...kinda feel like it may be too light for me but I barely use any..the others are all Laura Mercier Translucent powders for all over and also the secret brightening powder..I see artists putting that under the eye on the cheeks while applying eye make up and then brushing it off after (aka Kim K's artists)..pretty sure this is the stuff they are using but when I try to use it I feel like it just makes me look old and dry like I have wrinkles...I keep it around for friends if i need to do their make up..if you are on the oilier side you should try it

I dont always highlight because like I said nowadays everyone is taking a pic with their phone and then you look all shiny..but I am obsessed with Revlon skinlights, gives you such a pretty glow but unfortunately this product has been discontinued! see! thats why I bought three!! I think I have had this forever! I should probably throw them out =( my friend gave me the chanel one and then this laura mercier product called secret finish..not sure how to use it...but these are a good way to get that JLO glow but now I use a powder highlighter from mac so that its less shiny ..I'll post it with my blush blog

I cannot begin to tell you how much I love this  concealer ok so this concelear is creamy so it works for me but if you get oily it probably wont stay on unless you use one of the powders (secret finish) I like to have a cheaper drug store version of everything I use because I feel bad using all these expensive products every day and also the drug store ones are great too...I have been searching for a good one I finally got this Revlon one today ..think the color may be too light but I will try this tomorrow when I go hiking and let you know (it also has SPF i didnt even know undereye concealers could have SPF but according to a girl on youtube the SPF in there can make you look shiny in pics guess I will find out soon) I'm excited to use it but i will prob buy the laura mercier one again cause I am almost out #3 is what I use now..I can't beleive that I got through years of not even using under eye concealer! what was I thinking ..I honestly started using it when Kim K started posting make up blogs and I beleive it was Mario her make artist that taught me (through his awesome videos) how to actually apply it now I cannot live without it!!!!!!!!!if you buy anything from this post it's got to be this stuff!

I bough this at naimes..it doest really belong in this BASE post but I have it on my face tonight...I used to use this  really expensive natura bisse glycolic peel that I looooooooved think it was 20% glycolic but NO WAY can I afford that stuff now...btw they have an amazing skin care line and I was lucky enough to visit their spa in Cabo located at the Mecabo resort...really magical stuff..anyhoo so this girl at Naimie's was nice enough to share this product with me..it's only 45$ (hey the other one is like 200 bux!) I think I am supposed to use it a few nights a week before bed ..the first few days I noticed my skin peeling a very tiny bit...so far i like this stuff
SKIN Authority - I will read more about it and their directions should be a little more clear like how many times a week I should use it ..be careful when using glycolic make sure you use SPF when you go out in the sun!! even if it's raining people!
ok wow that was a long post hope it helps you and let me know if you have any questions please!
