I heart PBS and Chocolate
I can't believe it! I already lost a pound =) Dr. Joel Fuhrman said if I loaded up on veggies and fruit I could lose a pound a day but WOW! it really works =) He was on Dr. Oz yesterday, which gave me an extra push of motivation. I didn't follow his plan meal but I did eat according to his recommendations. I even had a little semi-cheat snack by having a piece of 70% dark chocolate which contained some sugar (the enemy!) but according to Dr. Joseph Maroon it will help me live longer =) Today I'm recording "Kathy Smith's Ageless Energy" on PBS, which in my opinion is the #1 station to watch. I think watching TV is one of the worst habits but if you are going to indulge about an hour a day at least watch something informative. From Dr. Wayne Dyer's life advise to Suze Orman's money tips (much needed right now) PBS has been a wonderful source of info and I have to say has really changed my life around. They also air amazing concerts. I'm excited to watch Kathy's show (who's exercise videos I used to use years ago) because low energy has always been an issue for me. When I got around to asking my physician about it during my yearly check up, he recommended an anti-depressant. What is wrong with this world? I thought he would recommend a banana in the morning but instead he is pushing drugs on me! I never filled the prescription but I truly believe that eating right and exercising will give me more energy than any zombie pill. Time for breakfast I'm starving today!
