Tea Tree Oil
Good Morning oops afternoon almost ...so I stayed up last night watching you tube tutorials about tea tree oil. The best method I found was dipping a cotton swab into the oil and then applying it in different sections of my scalp. The Whole foods lady told me to dilute it with another oil so I was just careful not to put too much and then I also put coconut oil (more towards the ends) which I rubbed into my scalp. I put a dash of olive oil too lol I figured why not make a salad dressing in my hair lol! I put a towel on my pillow and slept with it in my hair. I haven't blow dried yet but I'll let you know how my scalp feels. Those tutorials lead me to other ones like how to wash your hair. I found a great tip about conditioner. I usually put a lot of conditioner all over my hair but your roots don't really need that much because its "new" hair. It just feels nice but it's probably weighing down my hair and drying out my scalp. Going forward I will just put some on my ends starting from the top of my ears. then I can rub whatever is remaining on my hands on the top just for a bit of conditioning. I do have extremely curly hair so its dry and frizzy by nature. Yes, I have tried all the crazy treatments out there and they do work, but right now I can't spend over 200$ on my hair =( Also the treatments usually made my scalp really dry and itchy, they are known to be very harmful and also make the front of my hair pretty flat. But who am I kidding, as soon as I start saving up I will probably get the treatment ;) I'm excited to blow-dry my hair and see how it looks with the new color and at home oil treatment. Have a nice day :) oh and btw make sure its 100% tea tree oil don't get ripped off!
